There are certain things of significant value in my life that I assume everyone knows about, and therefore neglect to share with others. One of those things is This American Life.
This American Life is the single greatest journalism I've ever heard. It makes you realize how good journalism actually can be. On it you'll hear true stories about the most interesting topics you can possibly imagine. It is engaging, entertaining and extremely professional.
I don't want to you to spend your time reading this when you could be listening to one of my favorite episodes.
Give it 15 minutes. I honestly think you'll be hooked.
Or you could catch last week's show.
You can subscribe to it on iTunes, or find it on NPR every Saturday.
