I've been in AZ for many, many years—and I ain't never seen nothin' like this.

It was just so wild: the absolute endlessness of it. This lightning went on for hours at a stroboscopic pace.

(also, I didn't even think 'stroboscopic' was a real word before this blog. now, it's one of my very favorites.)
